The wait is getting overbearing, for the announcement of the new Miss Slovensko 2018, but, it will be all worth it. The final gala night, like every year, will be a grand event where Miss Slovensko 2017 Hanka Závodná, and the preparations have started. With the jury naming all the twelve girls up in the running for the Miss Slovensko 2018 crown, the nervousness has increased, and the girls have gotten into full drive mode to come out shining at the end of the competition.

Whoever wins Miss Slovensko, it is necessary to say that all the girls have made their presence felt, and are looking strong at this point.

Grec Dominika

20 year old Grec Dominika stands tall at a height 181 cm. she works at the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava. Her hobbies are to travel, play sports, and indulge in fashion. She participated in the Miss Summer competition, which she won, and she has moved to the Miss Slovakia competition semifinals. But it was the beginning of last year's impetus, when she realized that Miss Summer leavers Petra Varali transferred to Miss Slovakia and even became the first vicemiss.

Grendova Radka

20 year old Grendova Radka stands tall at a height of 180 cm. she works at the Filozofická fakulta UK. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, playing sports, and skiing.

She entered the Miss Slovakia competition by herself, without any external push to do so. Her curiosity has led her throughout the competition and she looks at it as an opportunity for her to try and experience something new.

Molcanova Katarina

18 year old Molcanova Katarina stands tall at a height of 179 cm. She works at the Gymnasium JG Tajovského. Her hobbies consist of playing sports, swimming, reading literature, and painting.

She learned about the casting of the Miss Slovakia competition through her family and friends, who also persuaded her to file an application. She finds this a great opportunity to learn a lot of new things, to get beautiful experiences, to get to know new people and, last but not least, to challenge herself in life.

Chovancova Frederika

18 year old Chovancova Frederika stands tall at a height of 179 cm. She works at the Private secondary technical school DSA Trebišov. Her hobbies are playing the piano, dancing, and reading.

She did not enter the competition out of her own accord. Had her brother and friend not pushed her, she probably would not be in the competition now. She has faith and support from her closest people.

Liscinska Zuzana

22 year old Liscinska Zuzana stands tall at a height of 179 cm. she works at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice - Faculty of Natural Sciences. Her hobbies are singing, drawing, baking, DIY, and indulging in fashion.

She wanted to take the opportunity to be a part of a project that has been working in Slovakia for over 20 years, it has its name and tradition. She is attracted to the opportunity of representing her native country at world competitions, which is a truly unrepeatable experience. She also takes this as an opportunity to be a good example for younger generations and especially girls who may have similar dreams and goals. This project also takes place in charity, which has always been close to her heart.

Olvecka Diana

19 year old Olvecka Diana stands tall at a height of 175 cm. She works at the Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave - Fakulta filozofickej. Her hobbies include dancing, acting, and print modeling.

Signing up for Miss Slovakia was a bit special for her. Based on the Miss Horehronie regional competition, she had just received an invitation to the semi-finals. She admitted that she hesitated initially, but finally decided to try it.
