At the finale of Miss Slovakia 2020 held yesterday i.e. 14th August 2020 at DoubleTree by Hilton, Slovakia, Leona Novoberdaliu was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Slovakia 2019 Frederika Kurtulíková.

From Bratislava, the 22-year-old Leona gave a stunning performance throughout the competition eleven other contestants to win the national crown. Leona will now represent Slovakia in Miss World 2020. She is an Economist and an alumni of King’s College, London. Leona will surely be a strong contender at an international stage as well.

Miss Slovensko 2020 Leona Novoberdaliu’s court included -

1st Vice-Miss - Viktória Podmanická

2nd Vice-Miss - Kristina Viglaska

The organisation also holds the franchise to send the representatives to Miss International and Miss Supranational therefore, Viktória Podmanická will most likely represent Slovakia at Miss International 2020 while Kristina Viglaska will most likely compete at Miss Supranational 2020. However, an official release from the organisation is still awaited.

At the beginning of the competition, Melanie Theresa Benková won the Miss Press 2020 award at the Press Presentation. Viktória Podmanická, first runner-up was also awarded ‘Miss Sympatia’ title while second runner-up Kristina Viglaska was awarded the title of Miss Gosh 2020.

The twelve stunning beauties who started their journey together at Miss Slovensko 2020 were Natália Vohláriková, Kristina Viglaska, Kristina Kramarova, Lucia Jesenska, Melanie Theresa, Ivana Zvaríková, Natalia Lopasovska, Leona Novoberdaliu, Vanessa Šabíková, Alexandra Svrcková, Viktoria Spotakova and Viktoria Podmanicka.
