27 May 2020 | Angelique Reyes

Miss South Africa 2020, the 62nd edition of Miss South Africa, will host its annual edition virtually in the month of August where the next delegate to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2020 will be crowned. South Africa’s performance at the international beauty pageants has been incredible as the divas have always proven their worth in the competition and with their remarkable performances, they have taken home multiple titles, especially in the recent years.

Rebuilt under ‘Face your power, embrace your future’, stunning beauties will compete for the crown and the opportunities to represent South Africa in Miss Universe 2020 and Miss World 2020. Just today, the Miss South Africa organization has announced that the three finalists who will be crowned at the end of the event finale will represent South Africa at international pageants including Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Supranational.

While the official delegates are yet to be announced, there are a few beauties who have shown immense potential to be a part of this year’s national pageant. Tene´ Minderon has made it to our wish list along with being the official entrant to be a part of Miss South Africa 2020 with her stunning beauty and grace. She recently sent and uploaded her entry video for the pageant on her social media.

Hailing from the city of Johannesburg, Tene´ is 22-years-old and stands 168 cm tall. She is currently working as a professional model, actress, and a student at Embury Institute for Higher Education where she is studying B.Ed Degree Foundation Phase. She is passionate about representing South Africa at international stage.

Tene seems like a potential candidate to represent South Africa at Miss Supranational 2020 stage as she desires to bring in the change in the society. She with her knowledge and education about Foundation Phase, wants to set up a foundation for children and provide them with education. She wants to build up a foundation which not only provides education to the children but much more to make them better leaders for the country.

The diva is not new to the pageantry as she was one of the participants at Miss South Africa 2019 and was appreciated for her performance but unfortunately couldn’t make it to the top. She has worked with various designers, brands, and photographers in South Africa which has helped her to work on her skills and abilities to be a better beauty queen in future. Her beautiful curly hair adds up to her charming personality and she can impress anyone with her smile.

Tene is a fitness enthusiast and spends her free time working out in the gym or even outdoors. She has developed the desire to stay healthy and fit and working on herself gives her confidence and motivates her to push her strengths. She is working on her on-stage walk, body postures and angles and most importantly on her interview skills which is very essential part of any beauty pageants. She is confident, beautiful, and very determined to get selected to compete at Miss South Africa 2020 and be able to win a chance to represent South Africa at international beauty pageants.

Tene is very close to nature and likes to spend her time on the beach or hiking or simply embracing the beautiful nature from her house. She posts a lot about self-love and mother nature on her social media account. Her mind is focused and she tries to make the society better for human beings as well as nature too which makes her one of the strongest delegates at Miss South Africa 2020 stage if she gets selected. She ended her video by stating that she is taking a leap of faith and entering the beauty pageant again but this time with full dedication to win the title. She believes, “May I always be reminded to count my blessings and know that everyday isn’t a promise. It’s gift.”
