The 63rd edition of Miss South Africa, i.e., Miss South Africa 2021 will be hosted in October as the organization posted an announcement trailer asking potential candidates to enter themselves for the competition. The winner will succeed Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida for the title and earn the opportunity to represent South Africa in international competitions. The last date to enter the competition is 24th June 2021 midnight.
One of the most potential names appearing for entering the competition is of Catherin Groenewald. Hailing from Cape Town, Catherine is 22 years old and stands 167 cm tall. She is a multipotentialite working as a professional model, fitness instructor and owns a little online bakery.
Apart from this she is currently a second year student of BA Visual Communications degree at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business. She is majoring in graphic design but also does marketing, photography, digital skills, visual communications and digital design.
Catherine also runs a blog, ‘What She Does,’ where she shares tips and tricks around beauty, fashion, places, things or food while exploring all the incredible places and things that Cape Town has to offer. She loves spending her weekend exercising, cooking and baking, spending time with friends and family or exploring the beautiful city.
Catherine is not at all new to the pageantry world and has been a part of Miss South Africa earlier. If she does, she will be returning this year for the third time. Last to last year she tried to participate and despite her favoritism it was an absolute bummer not to see her in the final Top 35. She again entered in 2020 but did not make it to the semifinals. Her continuous attempts to make it to the competition are a perfect display of determination and her dream of representing her country at an international platform.
She is really a physically beautiful woman, she has a personality and charisma that captivates and makes one fall in love. As the organization mentioned they want to shine again in Miss Universe, Catherine can prove to be a strong card to take that crown and succeed Natasha Joubert with another stunning display of the country at the stage.
