After the successful completion of Miss Universe 2020, the countries and their organizations are gearing up to elect new representatives for the upcoming 70th edition, Miss Universe 2021 with some of the most potential and ideal choices surfacing for the title.
Rabiya Mateo recently represented Philippines at Miss Universe 2020 where she couldn’t make it past the Top 21 was highly appreciated for her performance throughout the competition making her country proud. While most of us still can't get over to the results of the recently concluded Miss Universe 2020 pageant, Steffi Aberasturi is one of the names popping up as a Miss Universe Philippines 2021 aspirant.
Steffi seems like an ideal contender for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 crown. Steffi is 26-years-old and stands 170 cm tall and has graduated with a degree in Tourism Management from University of San Carlos. She works as an ESL teacher and a professional model as well. Grown up in Liloan, Cebu, Steffi is of Spanish, Australian and Filipino descent.
Steffi is not new to the world of pageantry as she has won various titles such as Sinulog Festival Queen 2011, Miss Campus Femme 2012, etc. She was also the winner of Binibining Cebu 2018-2019 and has shown immense dedication and determination to represent the country at international stage. She wants everyone to know that they should keep following their aspirations until they have achieved it.
This Cebuan beauty is also a small business owner and recently came up with an online campaign, #MYQUEENDERASTORY to share her online selling experience during the pandemic with the hopes of inspiring other young entrepreneurs to make their dreams happen and at the same time encourage others to also share their ‘queendera/kingdero’ stories.
Talking about the same she wrote, “I am grateful and proud of being a Cebuana entrepreneur. I will continue to take risks and start new endeavorws. As to what venture I am taking on next, I don’t know. One things is for sure – I AM READY.” A lot of her followers and pageant fanatics are taking this as a hint on her participation at the pageant but all in all it displays that this queen has it all and is determined towards everything she does.
The diva stated that beauty pageants have helped her to give her a sense of direction and a chance for her to share her passion, talent, promote advocacy and people to hear her voice. “When I was young, I was always fascinated by women wearing beautiful gowns. But what really caught my attention is that being part of a pageant gives you the chance to inspire people, touch lives, promote your advocacy and make a difference to yourself and others,” Steffi shared.
If she decides to participate, she can be a strong contender at Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and use the platform to advocate about her advocacy and making a positive change in the society. She will prove to be one of the strongest contenders at the competition with her experience and an enchanting personality.
