After a successful stint at Miss Universe 2020, Miss Universe Nepal 2020 Anshika Sharma is currently in USA amplifying her advocacy. Just recently, Miss Universe Nepal 2020 first runner-up Sujita Basnet, along with Himalayan Heritage Restaurant and Onest Real Estate, organized Washington DC Meet & Greet Fundraiser for Anshika Education Welfare Foundation which aimed to raise awareness and collect additional funds for our stunning queen’s foundation.
Anshika’s foundation already supports 24 children from underdeveloped areas of Nepal such as Jhapa and Jumla - with the charitable donations from Nepalese communities in the USA she wants to increase the number of children supported by her foundation.
Miss Universe Nepal organization launched ‘Anshika Education Welfare Foundation’ during a press conference in March 2021 for which the diva has invested 10 Lakh rupees of her prize money to not only set up the foundation but also support 14 children from her hometown so that they can continue to receive quality education.
Anshika Sharma is yet to return to Nepal because of travel restrictions due to covid-19. Radiating a captivating aura on the stage in front of the Universe, Anshika inspired millions turning out to be Nepal’s best delegation till date without any doubt. She has set a benchmark for delegates of the future on a different level with her elegance and grace. The performances and presence that she brought along was impeccable at Miss Universe 2020.
