Not new to the pageantry, Sujita became the first ever Miss Nepal USA in 2011. In 2016, she was awarded the title of Miss Maryland World 2016 and went onto represent Maryland in Miss World America 2016 where she placed in the Top 12. After that, she placed as the second runner-up at Miss Maryland USA 2020, one of the biggest titles for a Nepali diva to get. She was also the Popular Choice award winner at the competition.

With all of her accomplishments and experience in the pageantry, Sujita is definitely a strong contender for the national title. Being a part of so many pageants has helped Sujita build her self-esteem, confidence, awareness, and gave her a voice to be herself. Professionally the diva is a consultant and if it weren’t for pageants, she wouldn’t have had the voice or courage to walk into a male dominated industry as a woman who can express her creativity and opinions.
