Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Alyssa Smith, from KwaZulu-Natal, has made it to Top 30.

The 24-year-old Alyssa Smith is a corporate lawyer, specializing in private equity fund formation. She studied at the University of the Free State and Varsity College and graduated with an LLB Law Degree summa cum laude.

On making it to Top 30, Alyssa took to her official social media as she wrote, “There is no higher calling and no greater honour than to bow and kneel before. Your thrown I am amazed at your glory, embraced by your mercy, lord I live to worship you.”

At Miss South Africa 2022, she is representing the little girls from across the road, neighbours and friends that became family, women of colour and the diversity of the nation. Alyssa Smith is an avid lover of dancing, travelling, poetry, mentoring and drinking lots of tea.
