Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Chuma Matsaluka, from Nyanga in Cape Town in the Western Cape, has made it to Top 30.

Chuma Matsaluka is 24 years of age. On making it to Top 30, she took to her official social media as she wrote, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding”. Chuma is a fashion model and a content creator with a triple major degree from the University of Cape Town. She majored in anthropology, industrial sociology and politics and governance and is now studying for an honours degree in anthropology.
