Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Itumeleng Parage, from from Central Western Jabavu in Soweto, Gauteng, has made it to Top 30.

Itumeleng Parage is 23 years of age and is currently a Bachelor of Laws student with a Bachelor of Arts (Law Major) degree from the University of Witwatersrand. Parage considers herself as an ambitious, strong-willed and intentional young woman who has a vision to move South Africa forward.

On making it to Top 30 at Miss South Africa 2022, Parage took to her official social media as she wrote, “Is it giving Miss South Africa Semi-Finalist 2022? Because that’s what’s up! We did it, we absolutely did it! You guys, God didn’t plant that dream in your heart for no reason. Your interests, thoughts & views matter. And one day, you will collide with destiny and the dots will connect. This is it for me! A dream come true that affirms & fortifies so much within me.”

Itumeleng Parage considers Michelle Obama as her role model because she is inspired by the strides she continually takes to make the world a better place for women. Parage, through her participation, wishes to do the same and work towards betterment of women of her country. With her drive to do better and her stunning beauty, Parage is another strong contender for the crown.
