Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Nompumelelo Mampholo, from Diepkloof, Zone 4 in Soweto, Gauteng and currently residing in Sandton, has made it to Top 30.  

Nompumelelo is 26 years of age and a real estate agent. She is the founder and CEO of Conqueres Connect which is a youth owned Waste Management and Recycling Solutions Company. Mampholo would like to be Wonder Woman, because she’s a woman of super strength and power and she can fly.

Mampholo holds a bachelor’s in commerce in Economics. On making it to Top 30, Mampholo took to her official social media as she wrote, “We can only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen. Excited to be part of the Top 30 of Miss South Africa 2022. An opportunity I don’t take for granted.”

Not new to the pageantry, Mampholo was also a part of Miss South Africa 2017. Growing up, Nompumelelo used to be a real tomboy. She loves spending time with family and friends, playing sport, going to the gym and reading inspirational books. She will definitely be a strong contender for national crown if she continues with her dedication and hard work.
