Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Pearl Ntshehi, born and raised in Mamelodi, has made it to Top 30.

Pearl Ntshehi is 25 years of age and currently lives in Centurion. She is a candidate attorney and holder of a BCom Law, BCom Honours and LLB degree. Through her efforts, Pearl wishes to serve and aspire to make an impact on the country’s judiciary. Through her reign, Pearl also wishes to inspire young girls and boys from the township to thrive in uncharted territories.

Not new to the pageantry, Pearl made it to the Top 30 last year at Miss South Africa. She also said she was taking part once again as she had grown immensely from being part of the pageant.

“As Miss South Africa, I will instil this certainty and confidence in the young women who are from communities similar to mine. I want to use this platform to inspire conversations and actions about how we can celebrate and enhance the beauty that exists in our communities, while responding to the pertinent issues that plague them, such as unemployment”, Pearl quoted.

“The most important part is showing that beauty pageants are not about the glitz and glamour, but about showcasing the story behind the incredible women that walk on stage, their passions, strength, humanitarianism and philanthropic work,” she added. Pearl could definitely be a strong contender at the national pageant if she continues to thrive through her efforts with sincerity and dedication.
