Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.
The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Shevon Pereira, from Roodekrans, Johannesburg, Gauteng, has made it to Top 30.
Shevon Pereira is 25 years of age who works as a model and currently works as a business consultant at Discovery. In 2019, Shevon graduated with a BCom Entrepreneurship degree through the University of Pretoria.
On making it to Top 30 at Miss South Africa 2022, Shevon took to her official social media as she wrote, “It has been such an exciting and emotional journey leading up to my entry for Miss South Africa 2022. I knew I wanted to speak out about my story and my experiences in the hope of empowering those around me. I took the stand and voiced what it is I am so extremely passionate about, my heart is filled with joy getting to share this with all of you.”
Shevon considers herself unwavering in her beliefs, and also embraces her imperfections. Shevon comes from a diverse ethnicity background. Her dancing and modelling career have helped to shape and form the woman she is today. Shevon is also a creative person, and it gives her the ability to see the world differently to what most people would.
