Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Stacy Gossayn, from from Viljoenskroon in the Free State but currently is based in Pretoria, Gauteng, has made it to Top 30.  

Stacy Gossayn is currently working as a Surgical Orthopedic Medical representative after studying a BSc degree in Human Movement Sciences and Physiology. Stacy’s goal is to educate, inform, and create a safe space for people to have conversations around their ongoing health issues and to nurture the well-being of South Africans through nutrition.

Stacy Gossayn is also a podcaster and a health advocate. Her love for beauty products and cosmetics led her to study a diploma in professional make-up artistry. For the past five years, Stacy has successfully run a side business as a makeup artist and is currently completing a diploma in Sports Nutrition.

On making it to Top 30 at Miss South Africa 2022, Stacy took to her official social media as she wrote, “I am so honored to let you all know that I have made it into the top 30 for Miss South Africa 2022. My God you are so good, thank you for all for walking this road with me as we take this on let us remember why we are doing this, and who we are doing this for.”

Stacy suffered with asthma for the most part of her life which is what inspired her to study BSc Degree in Human Movement sciences and Physiology. She is currently a brand ambassador for Rise Against Hunger and since March 2021, they have packaged and delivered over 5 million meals to South African children. Stacy definitely has what it takes to make it to the Top at Miss South Africa 2022.
