Miss Supranational 2016 pageant has finally started, with contestants reaching their destination Poland. The pageant started with the sashing ceremony of the contestants, wherein the delegates were introduced to the media and were also presented with their respective sashes.

After finishing up with the pageant formalities, it was time for the contestants to tour around the place. The delegates started their day with a fun filled exciting visit to the historic Warsaw Old Town, the oldest part of the capital city. It is also one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Warsaw. The contestants also visited the bank of Vistula river, Grodzka, Mostowa and Podwale Streets. After touring and travelling, it was time for the contestants to indulge in some food tasting.

The girls were taken to the Old Town Market Place which is famous for its restaurants, cafés and shops. The delegates shared their experience and expressed their excitement about their visit. Miss Mauritius Angie Callychurn shared that it was an amazing experience. “Knowing that years ago the town was totally devastated and now it looks as if nothing happened. But when you hear about the stories from the Polish people, you can feel the emotions while they are narrating what actually happened in Warsaw. Being separated from the rest of the world and then building a new life again from scratch," said Angie Callychurn.

Malaysian beauty Julylen Liew Gizelle also expressed her joy and shared that this has been the best place she has visited. She further added, “This is very different from my country. The historical places we visited somehow made me realize how important for us to cherish every single thing in our history."

The Miss Supranational 2016 delegates will next be heading to Slovakia for a week-long tour and activities. On 22nd November 2016, the contestants will be competing through various rounds, including Evening Gown and Swimsuit Round.

Miss Supranational 2016 grand finale is scheduled to be held on 2nd December’ 2016, and one of these gorgeous ladies will be crowned as the winner. Who do you think it will be?
