The year 2016 came with many wonderful things in pageantry, new national pageants, wonderful innovations, interesting controversies..and a lot more. Among everything that we heard on pageants and beauty queens, there was one name that stood out, Miss Supranational 2016, the pageant itself! From being admired for its over-the-top show last year to debates if it has changed history by becoming one of the most reputed and loved pageants in the world by making it to Big 5, this name had countries searching for their most beautiful supranational contestant. Until now, around 47 countries have sent in their delegates.

So, what is all about this pageant? Well, Miss Supranational is an annual national beauty pageant that is run by the World Beauty Association. Its first edition was held in 2009, in Poland. The Panama based pageant has established its reputation on the basis of twenty years of experience in the event industry and the organization of beauty contests.

Miss Supranational 2016 will be the eighth edition of Miss Supranational pageant. In such a short time, the pageant has made its name among the bests in the industry. The contestants are all national delegates from countries around the world. The pageant is known for its grand finale each year, which is transmitted live internationally via internet as well as television. The show nails it last year, will it be able to catch more excitement in 2016?

It was recently released by the President of Nowa Scena, Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, that this year the pageant will be hosted by two countries. This is the first time something like this is happening, and delegates, fans, as well as the organizers, are all very excited for the grand finale that is scheduled to be held at a Spa Resort, on December 02’ 2016, for the third time at the scenic location of Krynica- Zdrój in Poland.
