The eleventh edition of Miss Supranational, i.e. Miss Supranational 2019 held its grand coronation night on 6th December 2019 where Thailand created history by winning its first ever Miss Supranational crown under Anntonia Porsild’s delegation.
The production of the finale was grand with sets full of grandeur and elegance. The competition was held successfully in Poland as the delegates enjoyed weeks of pre-pageant activities and participated in the contests that led to the finale night.
The pageant followed the selection of Top 25-Top 10-Top 5 as the winner and the four runners-up were announced as her court. Before that, the hosts of the evening kept the audience entertained as the performers also showed their talent on stage. The sponsors added the extra oomph to the contest with heavy promotions and marketing strategies.
As the Top 25 were announced keeping all the delegates who deserved to move forward in the competition, the coronation night was watched by thousands of people all over the world supporting their favourite contestants for the crown.
While the Top 25 were widely appreciated, the cut to Top 10 witnessed strong countries such as Philippines, Netherlands, Mexico and India losing their chance to win the Miss Supranational crown. The decision came in as a surprise since all these delegates were front runners since the beginning of the competition for the crown.
Fans and family of the delegates from all over the world came to support their favourites while the contestants walked with oomph and grace on the stage. This year’s edition witnessed even better performances than last year as the contestants came prepared for their stint. Thailand took home the crown, leading Asia’s dominance in the pageantry with fifth crown in the last six years.
All in all, Miss Supranational 2019, even though disappointed a few, did a commendable job in organizing a pageant of such a huge measure. Everything seemed to go fine for them as the pageant fanatics gear up for yet another ride in the next year’s edition.
