The 12th edition of Miss Supranational, i.e., Miss Supranational 2021 is all set to be held on 21st August 2021 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz, Malopolska where Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild of Thailand will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
With just a day away from the finale, Miss Supranational Czech Republic 2020 Angelika Kostyshynová has revealed her official national costume for the competition. Her national costume depicts a majestic dynamic eagle, which is one of the state symbols of the Czech Republic. This Queen of Heaven is an attribute of the Holy Prince Wenceslas, famous for his extraordinary bravery, education and compassion for his neighbors.
The National Bird of the Czech Republic is a Moravian female eagle. This eagle is also present on the country’s coat of arms. The Czech coat of arms dates back to the 1200's. It consists of a shield divided into 4 squares. The top right square is blue and contains a red-and-white checkered, crowned eagle. This is the Moravian eagle, adapted from the Saint Wenceslas eagle of the Holy Roman Empire. Eagle is the symbol of the Czech Republic because of its size and power.
The costume is idealized and conceptualized by Sam Dolce and designed by Jana Hodanova´ under his label Laho. Her magnificent headband and wings have been brought into life by Maria Ilinceva. The costume reflects a consistently thoughtful approach to fashion, aesthetics and the environment. It is designed and developed in the Czech Republic, many components, such as ground Preciosa elements, are also local.
Angelika is 24 years old and stands 174 cm tall. She was born in Ukraine and lives in Czech Republic for the last 20 years. The diva has used the platform, given to her, to help people in whatever way she can because she believes that we should do for the people who need it more than we do. She is compassionate, positive, humble, and much focused. She is well prepared, confident, beautiful, and dedicated to win the title. She can be a strong contender for the title as she is experienced, is very focused towards her goals and definitely has a powerful national costume.
