All about Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe

Namibia’s Chanique Rabe was crowned Miss Supranational 2021 at the 12th edition of Miss Supranational held at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz on 21st August 2021, as she bested fifty-eight contestants from all over the world. She succeeded Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild of Thailand for the title.

Born and raised in Windhoek, Namibia, Chanique is a 23 years old fashion designer and model by profession. The stunning beauty also holds a certificate in makeup artistry and photography. After winning the title, the newly crowned queen took to her social media to express her gratitude as she wrote, “Namibia, we did it! I am honoured to win the first Miss Supranational crown for Africa! It is still sinking in… All I can say is THANK YOU! Thank you to the Miss Supranational organization for giving me this opportunity and thank you to everyone for every single message, phone call and gesture! A big congratulations to all the contestants, what a wonderful journey it has been.”

“Anntonia Porsild, thank you for being such an inspiration and wonderful title holder, I truly have such big shoes to fill.I am so grateful and honoured to be here and excited for what’s to come. All my love, Your Miss Supranational 2021,” she added.

During the final question-and-answer segment, Chanique Rabe was the first one to answer the question, which was, "If you could have the opportunity to meet the leader of your country, what would you like to discuss with them? Remember, you have only 30 minutes."  She confidently answered that coming from a third world country and seeing how the leader of her country handled the covid pandemic, how wonderfully he communicated with the nation of 11 ethnic groups, she would love to get some advice from him in terms of communication for her journey forward. She believes that communication is not easy, but the leader of her country did it brilliantly.

 

 

Rabe is no stranger to pageants as she was crowned Miss Teen Namibia 2014 which allowed her to travel the world and represent Namibia at Miss Teen Continents 2015 where she was crowned as the winner. The diva is the owner of her own label, ‘Chanique Designs’ and serves as an ambassador for Hope Village Orphanage. Chanique also has her own charity project named ‘The Mending Project’ where she teaches the children especially girls sewing skills that she believes could help them in future.

Starting her reign as Miss Supranational 2021, Chanique Rabe of Namibia attends the Mister Supranational 2021 pagaent tonight as a judge. As she began with the first day with her new sash and crown, she shared, “Things are happening so fast and I’m just trying to truly be present, take in every moment and enjoy every part of this. But I just want to take a moment to THANK all of you from around the world. Every message, story, photo and phone call. I wish I could keep up and thank each of you individually, but please know that my heart is so unbelievably grateful and happy.”

 

 

Chanique is strong, potential, dedicated, and confident about herself and has a positive outlook towards life. Her constant hard work and efforts have helped her to reach at such a prestigious position and win one of the biggest beauty pageants in the world.
