Ines Kasemi to represent Albania at Miss Supranational 2021

09 Jul 2021 | Angelique Reyes

Ines Kasemi was appointed as Miss Supranational Albania 2021 earlier this year and will now be representing Albania at the upcoming edition of Miss Supranational 2021.  Ines succeeds Arta Celaj for the title, who represented Albania at Miss Supranational 2019 but remained unplaced at the end of the event.

Hailing from Tirana, Ines is 24 years old and speaks several languages including Albanian, English and Mandarin Chinese. Ines grew up in Greece but returned to Albania where she finished her high school and later moved to Austria to attend Graz University of Technology on Rechbauerstraße in Graz where she studied informatics engineering.

She is a computer scientist, beauty queen and fashion model. Kasemi is also a travel enthusiast and in 2019, she visited several countries including Greece, Slovenia and Singapore. In July 2020, the diva competed at Miss Shqiperia 2020 and won the Miss Kinema 2020 title. Ines is also an athlete as she has been a professional volleyball player.

She aspires to a woman, who young girls can look up to and believe in themselves and inspire them to achieve their dreams. She says that not just in the world of pageants but also in her daily life, she is one of the few women studying computer science and receives shocking reactions as people see a pretty face and they think it’s just the beauty. “It doesn’t have to be that way, a woman can be smart, can achieve a lot of things in the men’s world,” she added.

Ines had always been into modelling more than pageantry before Miss Albania. She is now preparing for the international stint with her prior experience from the national competition. She has been training for her cat-walk training as she has to re-adjust from the model-like straight face to like more elegant and lively walk. For the interviews, she says that she will be herself and carry along a good vibe.

Ines Kasemi will represent Albania at Miss Supranational 2021 in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland on August 21, 2021. If she wins, she will be the first Miss Supranational crown-holder from Albania.

Congratulations queen!
