The Miss Argentina organization has recently announced the appointment of Maira Acst as the new ambassador for Argentina in Miss Supranational 2022. The newly appointed Miss Supranational Argentina 2022 succeeds Miss Supranational Argentina 2020 Lucia Sacerdoti and makes a comeback for the country after two years.

Maira is 24 years old, from the province of Corrientes, currently residing in Buenos Aires and is a professional model with a high impact in India, Egypt and Argentina. After the announcement, the diva shared, “I am overflowing with emotion to be able to share with you a very special news for me. A dream come true, an illusion that I have had since I was very young, with my first steps in heels when I was only four years old.”

“Today my chest swells with pride when I say that I will be representing my beloved country as the new Miss Supranational Argentina 2022! The responsibility is immense, as is the professionalism of the team that will accompany me on this path. I will carry the flag of Argentina with great enthusiasm, with great strength and conviction,” she added.

Maira is a recognized international model with an indisputable beauty and who now has the task to achieve the first international crown for Argentina, which they last qualifies for under Avril Marco at Miss Supranational 2019.

Miss Supranational 2022, the 13th edition of the international pageant, is all set to return to the city of Nowy Sacz in the Malopolska region this June and July. The Miss Supranational 2022 Final Show will be broadcasted from the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater on Friday, July 15th. The reigning Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe from Namibia will pass on the title to her successor at the end of the event.
