Leakena Ln crowned Miss Supranational Cambodia 2022

The Miss Grand Cambodia organization hosted the coronation for Miss Grand Cambodia 2021 yesterday, where gorgeous divas from all over the country competed for the national crown and a spot representing Cambodia at Miss Grand International 2021. Sothida Pokimtheng was crowned as the new queen at the end of the event.

Apart from the winning title, Leakena Ln Kampong Cham Province was adjudged as the first runner-up and crowned as Miss Supranational Cambodia 2022. Standing at 178 cm tall, Leakena will represent Cambodia at the upcoming edition of Miss Supranational pageant. She also won the Best in Swimsuit award.

Filled with excitement to be crowned as the new representative of Cambodia, Leakena took to her social media to share, “No words can describe how I feel with this pride, honor and responsibility. I am very happy and thank you very much for everything. Thank you to all my fans who have always supported me on this journey to this crown.”

She also went on to express her gratitude and thanked her family, friends and all the fans who supported her, promising to strive to use the position as well as fulfill the duty for the good of her nation. “I will continue to strengthen my capacity for our country. Finally, I'm very proud, shouting Ln Leakena, your first ever Miss Supranational Cambodia 2022”, she added.

The diva also took an opportunity to dedicate a message to her crown sister, the newly crowned Miss Grand Cambodia 2021 Sothida Pokimtheng, as she wrote, “This is the effort of both of us, who never give up, still continue to move forward. We will both meet you soon in the international league soon!”

Leakena will now pre preparing for Cambodia’s debut on the Miss Supranational stage as she will represent the country at Miss Supranational 2022, 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, to be held in Poland, dates for which are yet to be announced. Recently crowned Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe of Namibia will crown her successor at the end of the event.
