The 12th edition of Miss Supranational i.e., Miss Supranational 2020 will be held in the month of December this year, where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the title. Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild from Thailand will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Since, the pageants have been postponed due to the on going pandemic, the national directors are appointing the winners of last year to represent the country at international pageants. If this is the case with Miss Colombia Organization as well, then Valentina Aldana Darado seems like a potential delegate to represent Colombia at Miss Supranational 2020 stage.
Valentina is 20-years-old and stands 173 cm tall. She is a law student at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and studied Conversational English Program-Common European Framework B2 at Learn English International. She also has knowledge of French and is very passionate about representing Colombia at international stage.
The diva is not new to pageantry as she was a part of Miss Colombia 2019 where she represented the province of Cauca. She was adjudged as the 3rd princess at the end of the event finale. She was appreciated for her performance at the competition. At the age of five she began her musical career at the Antonio María Valencia Conservatory where she learned to play piano. She began to study law when she was only 15 years of age.
Valentina is beautiful and has very charming features which is why she has collaborated with various designers and photographers which has helped her to gain experience as well as in-depth knowledge about how beauty pageant world works. She puts in a lot of effort and her mind in whatever work she does and this is one of the reasons why she was considered as one of the strongest contenders at the competition. Unfortunately, she didn’t win the title but was placed as the 3rd princess. For Valentina, the beauty is a set of qualities where charisma, intelligence, physicality, and being able to emerge as a strong woman. She is very focused and determined toward her goal in life which is to pursue her career in law and represent Colombia at international stage.
The diva feels that being able to represent her country brings a lot of responsibility and she is ready to take on the duties of a beauty queen if given a chance. She thanks everyone who has supported and motivated her in her journey of Miss Colombia 2019 and showered their love on her. She stated, “Gratitude to all those who have made this wonderful opportunity possible, summoned not by a title or a band but by the great meaning they have and the immense challenge they represent for me.” She feels that when it comes to women, God has endowed them with extra strength and a talent or instinct to adapt to situations and they are created with many abilities to be independent. She mentioned, “I can send a message to all women to embrace and enhance their power, talent and value. So that they use their strength, their ethics and magic to empower them and be excellent guides, on a social or family level.”
Valentina is a powerful woman who embraces her flaws like a queen and tries to work on them with double efforts in order to finesse it. She feels that there is no bigger pillar of stability than education and determination in a woman. That has inspired her more than ever to take on the beauty pageant title and earn the opportunity to have the convening power to encourage all those women who for any reason do not believe in themselves. Valentina believes that knowing how to listen to the advice of her wise grandparents, parents, teachers, trainers, and experts on the subject, she has been able to leave her department of Cauca at the top. She feels that she has the skills and abilities to represent Colombia at Miss Supranational 2020 stage if given a chance. She can be a strong contender for the title of Miss Supranational 2020 too.
