19 Feb 2022 | Camilla Suarez

Miss Supranational Ghana 2020 Veronica Sarfo Adu Nti closed the chapter of pageantry as she looks forward to a newer journey in life. The diva announced on her Instagram handle on Friday, “It’s been quite a journey.” Indeed.

The diva started her journey 8 years ago and has since then been a prominent face in beauty competitions in Ghana. She explains that her love for beauty pageants is from her childhood and as she grew up and started participating in beauty pageants, she started learning the essence of beauty pageants and what they truly stand for. She believes that if someone wants to be a true queen, they must be a queen at heart.

Veronica Adu Nti took to her social media to reflect back on her journey and shared, “What does pageantry mean to me? It means the world, it is my passion, a platform to be heard and becoming Miss Supranational Ghana 2020 was a proof of hard work, perseverance, passion and determination.”

“My dream of representing Ghana at one of the world’s biggest stages has finally been fulfilled. To achieve that, I had to look beyond what society expected and define my beauty by overcoming all obstacles and stay true to myself. You don’t need to be perfect, self-love healing and advocate of natural entity,” she further added.

She was crowned Miss Supranational Ghana 2020 on 5th September 2020 at Christ The King, Ghana and represented the country at 12th edition of Miss Supranational competition. Hailing from Bekoe in the Ashanti Region, the makeup artist loves to cook and sing in her free time.

Veronica has previously represented Ghana at Miss Eco International 2018 and was appreciated for her strong performance but unfortunately wasn’t placed. She was also the first runner-up at Miss Eco Tourism Ghana 2014. She feels that beauty pageants are a great platform to make a positive impact on the people and try to change the society for good.

Here’s wishing Veronica all the best wishes for her future endeavours.
