Helena Hafthórsdóttir O'Connor was crowned Miss Supranational Iceland 2023 at the finale of Ungfrú Ísland on 16th August 2023 as she became the official representative of Iceland at Miss Supranational 2024. She succeeds Miss Supranational Iceland 2022 Ísabella Þorvaldsdóttir.

Helena O'Connor was adjudged as the first runner-up at the national competition and hence earned the right to represent her country at Miss Supranational. Being an aspirational and inspirational beauty queen, Helena has proven her mettle and is currently preparing with hard work and determination to compete at an international stage.

On being crowned Miss Supranational Iceland 2023, Helena took to her official social media as she expressed her emotions in a post captioned, “My heart is so full of happiness and I will be forever grateful for this amazing Miss Universe Iceland - Ungfrú Ísland experience. I appreciate all the support and would like to use this title to encourage others to chase their dreams despite difficulties.”

Miss Supranational Iceland 2022 Ísabella Þorvaldsdóttir represented her country at Miss Supranational 2023 but failed to place in the Top 24. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Supranational.

The 15th edition of Miss Supranational will be held next year in Poland where the winner will be crowned Miss Supranational 2024. Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
