Miss Supranational Malaysia 2020 will be held later this year to crown the representative of Malaysia for Miss Supranational 2020 competition where divas from all over the country will compete for the title and an opportunity to represent the country at Miss Supranational 2020.

With the list of delegates being prepared for the national competition, Saroop Roshi has caught our attention as seems like a potential candidate to represent Malaysia at Miss Supranational 2020. Currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Saroop is 22-years-old and stands 176 cm tall. Saroop is not new to the pageantry as she was crowned Miss Global Malaysia 2019 but couldn’t represent Malaysia at Miss Globe 2019 due to shortage of funds. She also participated in Miss Grand Malaysia 2019 where she was adjudged as the first runner-up at the end of the event finale. The diva was also one of the finalists for Miss Universe Malaysia 2019.

Saroop’s passionate, fearless, and confidence woman who is willing to go above and beyond her abilities to achieve her goals. On asking about her proudest moment, Saroop mentioned that at the age of 20 she started to work and became the breadwinner of the family. From a timid little girl to a responsible young lady who took a gap year from her studies to support her family, Saroop is especially proud to be able to shoulder this responsibility. She plans to study psychology to help others going through mental health issues and she has her own YouTube channel where she puts up videos related to accessible fashion and mental health. Drawing examples from her own experiences, Saroop aims to help the people she can through her social media account.

The diva had worked as a waitress, salesperson, promoter, teacher, barrista, beauty consultant before she landed as a model, but she is thankful for all the opportunities as she explains that they were indeed an eye opener to how difficult life really is and she learnt the value of money. She lost her father at the age of 19 and started working for the family and was diagnosed with depression after she tried to commit suicide 7 times. She explained that when her family decided to shift to Kuala Lumpur, everyone in her family asked her to work for the government sector and get married to a wealthy man but Saroop’s destiny has other plans and she moved out of her house alone in the big world. Even though she has worked with a lot of designers and brands in Malaysia she always has the desire to grow and for that she has worked very hard and still does. Miss Supranational Malaysia 2020 could be that platform for her where she can represent her country of Malaysia at international stage and make her family proud.

She enjoys working out, playing video games, belly dancing and reading in her spare time. She also likes to spend time with her family; mother and brother and thanks them for always supporting her and motivating her. She is beautiful, confident, strong, and focused towards her goals and can be a tough contender for the title.

Saroop’s hard adulthood has made her into a woman who knows how important it is to work for dreams and goals and she works on her on-stage walk, body angles, postures, communication, and interview skills every day to keep herself ready for any future pageants. She likes to dress up and experiment with her makeup skills which will be helpful during the pageant. The diva feels extremely blessed and thankful for the opportunities in which she has been able to give her best and believes that if she has a chance in future, she would perform her best to win the title.
