The Miss Supranational Malaysia organization has kick-started the 2022 edition of the national pageant with national pageants scheduled and being held all over the country. Aspiring divas are applying and screening for the competition. The organization held the first auditions in Kuala Lumpur on 19th June 2022 at IDEAS Kuala Lumpur.

One of the divas who gained the most spotlight at the auditions was returning diva Vinthiya Vasu. The diva is 26 years old and is a model, activist and physiotherapist. Malaysian pageant fans have rejoiced with Vinthiya’s comeback as she is definitely one the most potential names for the national title. Vasu was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022.

Prior to this, Vinthiya made it to the Top 10 of Miss World Malaysia 2021 and also was the former finalist of Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 where she finished at Top 12 and was also considered one of the strongest delegates. Passionate towards representing the country internationally, Vinthiya’s consistent participation and outstanding performances in Malaysian pageantry has proved her potential and strength time and again.

Currently, the reigning Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 Melisha Lin was recently crowned officially. She is now all set to represent the country at the upcoming 13th Miss Supranational pageant, to be held on 15th July 2022. She will soon depart for Poland.
