Miss United Continents Brazil 2018 Gleycy Correia, in an unfortunate turn of events, passed away at 27 after being in a coma for more than two months following a heart attack and heavy bleeding.
Her family priest Lidiane Alves Oliviera informed that the beauty queen passed away at a private clinic on 20th June 2022 after suffering from heavy bleeding and a heart attack following a routine operation to get her tonsils removed in late March. He also said that she was left in a coma for two months following the cardiac arrest in April.
Miss United Continents Organization also released a statement on her demise as they wrote, “I want to extend my most sincere condolences to her family and to his mentor Henrique Fontes who gave us the gift of knowing a beautiful, smart and sweet girl who leaves with us the happiest memories that will ever be kept in this organization."
Correia entered the beauty pageant world as a teenager and was crowned Miss United Continents Brazil at the age of 23 in 2018. After winning the pageant, she worked as a beautician and model. Angelopedia offers condolences to her family and loved ones.
