Daniella Orumwense was crowned first Runner-up in Beauty of the Africa International 2018 which holds the franchise of Miss Tourism International Nigeria, Miss Supranational Nigeria, Miss Globe Nigeria and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year Int'L Nigeria.
The 25-year-old thus became the official representative of Nigeria in Miss Supranational 2018. Daniella stands 175 cm tall. She also won the awards of Best Personality and Miss Bayelsa.
On her win, Daniella took to her social media to express her happiness in a post, “There is no journey without a cross is what my journey to this point has been. Looking back, it seemed like an impossibility but my cross has indeed produced a crown that I am proud to behold. The beauty of Africa International Pageant honours women every day and it is a great privilege to be part of the big picture of celebrated women in Nigeria and across the globe.”
Daniella continued, “Growing up, the girl child was given little or no importance, but with this platform, I hope to be an inspiration to girls and women nationally and internationally still trying to find their way in the society. The Beauty of Africa International Pageant has shown me that the sky is not the limit but the starting point. I cannot fail to reference the almighty God because this would only be a dream without his favour in my life. My heartfelt gratitude goes to my family who stood by me every step of the way, my friends, well-wishers, my fellow queens and BAIP.”
The finale of Miss Supranational 2018 will be held on 7th December 2018 in Poland. Angelopedia wishes Danielle all the best for the upcoming competition.
