Miss Norway 2020 held its coronation event on 31st October 2020 where stunning beauties competed for the crown and at the end of the event finale Ina Kollset who was adjudged as the first runner-up was crowned as Miss Supranational Norway 2020 and will represent the country at Miss Supranational 2020 stage.
From Svinndal, Ina is 21-years-old and stands 169 cm tall and is the final year of nursing at Østfold University College who aspires to be a midwife and work for Médecins Sans Frontières, as a trained nurse and midwife. She describes herself as caring, empathetic, and positive girl who loves to get to know new people. She wants to be a good and healthy role model, and aim to inspire others to realize their dreams.
After being crowned as Miss Supranational Norway 2020, she took to her social media and stated, “I am so happy to finally be able to announce that I am crowned Miss Supranational Norway, and will represent Norway in Miss Supranational 2020/21. This is one of the 5 biggest pageants in the world, and I’m so excited and grateful to be a part of this journey.”
The diva thanked the organization and everyone who helped her during the competition and mentioned that she is proud of her accomplishments, and grateful for the opportunity. This is just the beginning for her. The reason why she wants to work at Médecins Sans Frontières is because they are a completely neutral and independent organization, which helps the ones in need. They do not take sides, but help everyone no matter what. This is also the case in her job as a future nurse, everyone should receive equally good health care.
Ina mentioned, “In order for me to have the opportunity to achieve my dreams, I have to work hard and purposefully. I want to show my values ??and personality, and fight for opinions and issues I thought are important.” The diva who is preparing herself for the competition had mentioned that her goal is to challenge herself and work hard to reach the goal. For her, it has been important to show that girls can also go far if they work hard. It's about believing in yourself.
The diva is now preparing herself for the competition and is focusing on performing her best at the stage and making the people of Norway proud. During the event, Sunniva Frigstad from Vennesla was crowned the new Miss Norway 2020 and is preparing to represent Norway at Miss Universe 2020 stage.
