Azul Santacruz was crowned Miss Supranational Paraguay 2017 at the grand finale of the renowned beauty pageant held on 4th September 2017 in Paraguay. She bested nine other contestants at the pageant to win the coveted title. With this victory, Azul succeeds Miss Supranational Paraguay 2016, Viviana Florentin and has received the privilege to represent Paraguay in Miss Supranational 2017 to be held on 1st December 2017 in the spa resort city of Krynica Zdroj, Poland.
In the same event, Ana Paula Céspedes finished as the first runner up, while Fabiola Espínola and Juliel Pockel were placed second and third runners-up respectively.
Azul Santacruz is 18 years of age and stands tall at 175 cm. She has been working in the modelling industry of Paraguay for quite some time now. Azul is not new to the world of pageants as the young beauty queen also competed in the Miss Teenager 2017 pageant in Ecuador where she was declared as 2nd runner-up.
In 2015, Stephania Stegman, who was Miss Supranational Paraguay 2015, was the proud winner the Miss Supranational pageant the same year. Let us see if Azul Santacruz is able to repeat history for her country by winning this year’s Miss Supranational crown.
