The Miss Peru organization held the coronation of Miss Peru Supranational a few hours ago where Solange Hermoza Rivera was crowned as the new Miss Supranational Peru 2021 along with Varo Vargas who was crowned as Mister Supranational Peru 2021. They will both now represent Peru at their respective international stages i.e. Miss Supranational 2021 and Mister Supranational 2021.

The Miss Peru organization took to their social media to share the news as they wrote, “With you Peru heading to Miss Supranational 2021 & Mister Supranational 2021. Proud and happy to have two people as committed as the bearers of our band. Up Peru!” Solange Hermoza Rivera will be representing Peru at the 12th Miss Supranational 2021 to be held on 20th August 2021 in Poland. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe 2020 second runner-up Janick Maceta.

Hailing from the city of Liberation, Solange is 25-years-old and stands 178 cm tall. She has a bachelor’s degree in business engineering and advance degree in English. She currently works as an actress and model. Solange also took to her social media to express her feelings where she said, “A new challenge, an adventure ahead, a dream, not only mine ... of a whole PERU How do I feel? Blessed and grateful.”

Solange is not new to the pageantry as she started working as a model when she was 17-years-old. Recently she was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Peru 2020 where she was one of the favorites for the title. She was also Miss Teen La Libertad 2013 and represented the region in Guatemala at Miss Teenager Universe 2014 where she was placed as the fourth finalist at the end of event finale.

Solange started performing arts at the age of 4 and moved to Lima in 2018 to prepare as an actress, she took workshops at Stefano Toso's school, where Anahí de Cárdenas was her teacher in the ‘Introduction to acting’ workshop, then she trained at Imaginario Colectivo, where she led Theater workshops with Gabriela Gallegos and Improvisation with Dusan Fung.

Solange is the founder of Arte Al Rescate, a social project that seeks to promote art as a tool to help people in their personal growth, strengthen their skills, and to help those most in need. She likes to travel and chat with people about their culture, values, and traditions as she believes that knowing about different culture and tradition helps one to understand the world and society from a different perspective.

Peru’s representation in the hands of Solange seems very strong. She is experienced, confident and determined towards performing her best on-stage. She also revealed that she has already starting preparing for her stint at Miss Supranational 2021 as she will soon be heading to Poland.
