The Miss Peru organization recently took to their social media to announce the election of Almendra Castillo O’Brien as the new Miss Supranational Peru 2022. The diva was crowned as the new queen during the official presentation of the Miss Peru 2022 candidates 

“I want to express my deep gratitude and affection for all the support and trust you have placed in me! It is a great responsibility and commitment to represent my country, our beloved Peru, and I cannot be more proud to be your Miss Supranational Peru 2022,” Almendra shared.

27 years-old Almendra Castillo O'Brien is a professional make-up artist with a degree in International Business Administration. Aside from doing cosmetic art, O'Brien also models and poses for the camera with confidence. The diva is not new to the world of beauty pageants, she was previously crowned Miss World Callao 2021. She later represented her municipality at Miss World Peru 2021 and was adjudged the fourth runner-up. She also participated in Miss World Peru 2015 but remained unplaced.

The diva has remained unfazed and consistent in her strive to win the national crown and will finally be representing the country at the international platform at Miss Supranational 2022 pageant. She succeeds Miss Supranational Peru 2021 Solange Hermoza Rivera for the title, who finished among the Top 24 finalists at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant.

Castillo will now prepare for the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, which is scheduled to return to Malopolska, Poland in the months of June and July.
