Andreea M. Coman was crowned Miss Supranational Romania 2018 at the Romanian Info Fashion Festival held on 7th September 2018 as she became the official representative of Romania in Miss Supranational 2018. She succeeds Miss Supranational Romania 2017 Bianca Tirsin.

From the city of Pitesti, Andreea is 25 years of age. She is currently living in Bucharest, Romania. Andreea is a model who has worked on numerous projects. She used to study law in the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest. Now Andreea has a Master’s Degree in law and during her free time, she spends time skiing. But before that, Andreea finds time to talk about her dreams, ambitions and guilty pleasures in an exclusive interview with Angelopedia.

INTERVIEW

Q. How does it feel to be Miss Supranational Romania 2018 and now a delegate of Miss Supranational 2018?

It is a challenge and a huge responsibility. I always wanted to represent my country Romania in big pageant and now it’s time for it in my life! I am taking the preparations seriousely, never quit gym, but I always find time for my own activities.

Q. What inspired you to the world of pageantry?

When I first started modeling it was through a beauty pageant, I was 17 years old and if I learned something from that experience was that it is not all about having a beautiful face and a nice body, it is all about how you can inspire another people and what feeling you can transmit to them.

Q. How would you like to represent yourself at the international stage of Miss Supranational 2018?

I think that in life is important to have goals and the way how you accomplish them should be a pleasant one. Confidence is very important when you want to achieve something and when you believe you can do it you are almost there.

Q. Who is your role model, if any and what values of his or her do you wish you could inculcate in your own life, and teach the next generation?

A strong role model nowadays for my generations is Nadia Murad, human rights activist, kidnnapped and held by Islamic State. I think is very important to inspire people to tolerance, no matter if we are talking about religion, political option or sexual orientation.

Q. What is the one thing that keeps you going and inspires you to be the best version of yourself?

Thinking that life is a surprise and you can never know what is around the corner and that you have to be ready to react and work with what you receive to the greatest things.

Q. Would you like to share your most special childhood memory with us?

I always used to get lost so easily. I was very curious and I remember how I was enjoying to discover new things. When I was 6 I ended up in the wrong train and that resulted in I arrived in a different city than my parents. They came after me so in the end we spent our summer holiday in another part than we originarly planed.

Q. What is the one thing you can label as your guilty pleasure?

My guilty pleasure defenetly is chocolate and pistachio!

Q. We’re sure that this competition is another milestone in your life. What is that one thing that you ultimately want to achieve?

I think that sharing experiences and knowlege is what made us better people. Right now I am preparing myself to become a professor so I can pass to the next generations what I received.

Q. If you could be invisible for a day, how would you like to spend it?

Haha! I don’t want to be invisible because I like being surounded by people and meeting new ones.

Q. What or who empowers you to be yourself and work hard every day?

I know that when it comes to dreams one may falter, but the only way to fail is to abandon them.

Q. If you are granted three wishes right now, what would you ask for?

I wish that I could eat as many chocolates and never gaind weight.

I wish that I could understand what animals think.

I wish that every child in this world can go to school because education is what empower us.

Q. Lastly, is there any message that you would like to give to your fans of Angelopedia?

I would like to thank Angelopedia fans for their support in this beautiful journey that I am taking right now. I am thrilled to know that there are people that are not looking just for outer beauty, but also for what is inside and what we can transmit.
