The organization of Miss Supranational USA announced Shivali Patel as the official representative of the United States of America for the upcoming edition of Miss Supranational scheduled to take place on 21st August 2021, in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. Shivali succeeds Miss Supranational USA 2019 Regina Gray for the title.

Madeleine Overby made the difficult decision to step down and relinquish her duties as Miss Supranational USA and the organization announced Shivali Patel as the new Miss Supranational USA 2020.

After being announced as the new Miss Supranational USA 2020, Shivali took to her social media to share her happiness as she wrote, "When I was five years old, my mum and dad thought it would be a wonderful bonding experience to compete in a pageant. Little did I know that nearly TWENTY years later, I would go on to owe a great deal of the woman I have become today to that same incredible world. I am honored...and overjoyed (REALLY overjoyed) to announce...we are going to Poland in A MONTH and a HALF!! I am your newly appointed Miss Supranational USA 2020 and can not wait to share my higher purpose with you. "

Shivali is 24-years-old and is very excited about taking over the crown and starting to prepare for the competition. She is passionate about beauty pageants as she has always considered them as a powerful platform that helps divas to embrace themselves as they are and wants to use the platform given to her to make a significant change in society. The beauty queen has a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies and psychology from North Carolina State University.

The diva is a business owner and her brand, Holinic, specialises in orthopaedic knee pillow for lower back pain, hip pain, joint pain, scoliosis, spine alignment, and pregnancy. She is a 2X self-published author and is very passionate about things in her life. She is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss World America 2016 and was highly appreciated for her performance throughout the competition. Shivali was also named Miss World America 2018's second runner-up.

Shivali is a confident, strong, and determined woman who feels honored to be representing the United States at Miss Supranational 2021 and believes that she will be able to perform her best on-stage and make the people of the United States of America happy and proud. She is very dedicated and, with guidance and experience, she has grown to learn new things and evolve herself as a model and a human being. She is grateful for the opportunities that came her way along the way that helped her become more confident, strong, and focused on her goal of representing the United States in an international competition.

Shivali has started to prepare for the competition and is hopeful of a positive outcome. She emerged as a strong contender for the Miss Supranational 2021 crown.
