Ravahere Silloux crowned Miss Tahiti 2023 for Miss France 2024

Ravahere Silloux was crowned Miss Tahiti 2023 on Friday, 23rd June 2023 at the Mairie de Papeete in French Polynesia. Ravahere succeeds and was crowned by Miss Tahiti 2022 Herenui Tuheiava and will now prepare to represent Tahiti at Miss France 2024, this December.

Ravahere Silloux is 24 years of age and a model and digital marketing student from Papeete. Ravahere bested nine other competitors to win the title. She is of Tahitian, Chinese, and German descent, speaks French and English, and enjoys traveling and interior designing.

“This Friday, 23rd June 2023 will remain engraved in my heart forever. I am so happy and grateful to receive this crown. I wish to recognize these 9 Aito Vahine who have dared so many times in such a short time. You can be proud of how far you've come together. Thank you for all our moments, our memories engraved for life! I dedicate this victory to all those who have been part of my trip and I promise to represent our dear Polynesia with grace and determination. I am aware of my responsibilities towards everyone and I choose to commit myself fully to these missions for my Fenua. You are my most beautiful crown”, she quoted as she won the crown.

Also at the end of the event finale, Teipotemarama Cabral and Poeiti Yule-Poroi were adjudged as the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Korail Vernaudon was awarded Miss Heiva 2023.

Hinarere Taputu Miss Tahiti 2014 and Miss France 2015 first runner-up and Matahari Bousquet Miss Tahiti 2019 hosted the event. Tahiti boasts five Miss France winners courtesy of Edna Tepava (1974), Thilda Fuller (1980), Mareva Georges (1991), Mareva Galanter (1999), and Vaimalama Chaves (2019).
