At the recently concluded finale of the ninth edition of Miss Teen International held in Bangkok, Thailand, Kathleen Paton from Visayas, Philippines emerged as the winner and was crowned as Miss Teen International 2017. The contestants from Brazil and USA finished as first and second runner-up respectively, while contestants from India, Manila (Philippines), Taiwan and Sydney (Australia) made it to the Top 7 finalists.
This is the fourth Miss Teen International title for the Philippines. Philippines won the first three editions of the pageant, with Nikita Conwi winning the title in 2009, Charmaine Hong in 2010 and Anjelica Nicole Hernandez in 2011.
