R'Bonney Gabriel of Houston was crowned Miss Texas USA 2022 at Hilton Houston Post Oak in Houston on 2nd July 2022 as she became the official representative of Texas at Miss USA 2022.
R’Bonney Gabriel gave a stellar performance at the state contest. She is 28 years of age who is a fashion designer and model. In 2018, the Filipina American earned a degree in fashion design with a minor in fibers from the University of North Texas. Not new to the pageantry, she was adjudged first runner-up at Miss Kemah 2021, Miss Houston 2021 and Miss Texas USA 2021.
The newly crowned Miss Texas USA 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Sydni Leonard
2nd Runner-up – Allie Drake
3rd Runner-up – Lluvia Alzate
4th Runner-up – Gisela Contreras
Top 19 also included Caitlen Monnone, Lydia Brooks, Bridget Robinson, Abigail Velez, Bryceidee Leos, Teresa Ramirez, Chelsea Morgensen, Destiny Fernandisse, Sirena Cantu, Samantha Havenstrite, Andrea Hightower, Elba Mendoza, Catherine Ivey and Aspen Wash.
R’Bonney Gabriel succeeds and was crowned by Victoria Hinojosa Miss Texas USA 2021. Victoria represented Texas at Miss USA 2021 and with her outstanding performance, she placed in Top 8.
