The press conference of Miss Thailand 2023 was held on 6th February 2023 at the Paragon Complex. At the press conference, it was announced that the winner of Miss Thailand 2023 will represent Thailand at Miss World 2023.

This year, the Miss World Thailand license is under the Miss Thailand Organization by TPNG (the Miss Universe Thailand license holder.) Thailand will be participating at Miss World this year after an absence of one year.

The winner of Miss Thailand used to represent the country at Miss Universe, while 1st Runner-up presented at Miss Asia Pacific International. However, Miss Thailand Organization lost these licenses to Miss Thailand Universe in 2000. The last Miss Thailand to represent her country at Miss Universe 1999 is Apisamai Srirangsan Miss Thailand 1999.

The reigning Miss Thailand 2022 is Manita Farmer from Phuket. Miss Thailand is a beauty pageant held in Thailand for Thai women. It was first held on 10th December 1934 in Phra Nakhon District of Bangkok, under the name of Miss Siam.
