The grand finale of Miss World Thailand 2018 (Miss Thailand World 2018) will host its coronation night on 15th September 2018 where 30 beautiful and deserving candidates will be competing for the national title. The event will be held at The Berkeley Pratunam Hotel in Bangkok.
Before the finale, Angelopedia has selected its favourite Top 8 contestants from the pageant who are most likely to win the national title and represent Thailand in Miss World 2018. The Top 8 according to Angelopedia are as follows –
Phattarapon Sonthiphak
Phattarapon Sonthiphak who is 23 years of age and 174 cm in height is contestant number 3 in Miss Thailand World 2018. She is currently working as a graphic designer. Phattarapon has had a lot of experience in the pageant world as she was in the Top 40 in Miss Universe Thailand 2014, Top 5 in Elite Model Look Thailand 2016.
Phattarapon was in the Top 10 in Thai Supermodel Contest 2018. She was also in the top 17 in the Sports Special Award in Miss Thailand World 2018. With all this exposure to this world and her confident and sharp looks, Phattarapon will surely have an edge over the other contestants.
Suthida Akarajaroensuk
Suthida Akarajaroensuk who also goes by the name Domo Akarajaroensuk, is 21 years of age and is 176 cm tall. She is contestant number 4 in Miss Thailand World 2018. Suthida is a student of Mass Communication in the University of Ramkhamhaeng in Bangkok, Thailand.
Born on 18th October 1996, Suthida is multilingual, with proficiency in English, Japanese Sign Language, Chinese and Thai. She seems like a very confident young woman who knows her way around the ramp, and her perfect figure along with her big beautiful eyes makes her stand out of the crowd.
Ornsuda Nakkasem
Ornsuda Nakkasem who is 22 years of age and stands tall with a height of 177, is contestant number 6 in Miss World Thailand 2018. Ornsuda is a model in Bangkok who went to Wattana Wittaya Academy for her schooling. She has also worked with a local business named Burson-Marsteller.
Ornsuda has studied in the Faculty of Social Sciences in Kasetsart University, Bangkok. She is a singer, which is her special talent in the pageant. She had previously been a participant in Miss Thailand World 2014. With her dedication to help educate the children in need, she will surely strum the right chords with the audience and win their hearts.
Nattanicha Boonpong
Nattanicha Boonpong is 22 years of age and stands tall with a height of 172 cm. She is contestant number 8 in Miss World Thailand 2018. Nattanicha studied in the Faculty of Communication Arts in Assumption University, Bangna. She has previously participated in Miss Korat 2011 where she won the championship and has also won the title of Miss ACN 2012.
Nattanicha’s special talents include Thai boxing and dancing. She has also done volunteering work in Khao Yai Jungle Dam, Lamtai Canal and helped the Mirror Foundation. She has what it takes to become a national representative in such a renowned platform, the beauty, the experience, the charm and the resolution for a better world.
Manita Farmer
Manita Farmer who is 22 years old and 174 cm in height is contestant number 11 in Miss Thailand World 2018. Professionally, she is a consultant having completed her graduation in Communication Arts from Bangkok University International College (BUIC).
Manita had participated in Miss Grand Thailand 2017 and won 1st place as Miss Grand Phuket. She is of Thai and English heritage. Manita has done volunteer work with Happy Builder Wat Mettangrung School, Silent Sound and One Young World. With such a grand experience in the pageant world along with the beauty and admirable personality, she has a good enough chance to win the national title.
Praewwanit Ruangthong
Praewwanit Ruangthong who is 25 years of age and stands tall with a height of 172 cm, is contestant number 12 in Miss World Thailand 2018. Praewwanit is a freelance model who also has had prior experience in the pageant world as she was the 1st Runner-up in Miss ThinThaiNgam 2018.
Praewwanit is from the city of Chumphon, Thailand but is currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. She is currently working as an Account Executive with a company named RPM Media. Praewwanit is a graduate from the School of Arts and Management from Prince of Songkla University. With her experience, academics and her looks, she is going to be a tough one to beat.
Helena Busch
Helena Busch, who is 22 years of age and 169 cm in height, is contestant number 26 in Miss Thailand World 2018. Helena is a student of Business Administration in her 3rd year in Bangkok University. Helena is trained in Thai boxing which is her special talent.
Helena has been involved in many volunteering projects like cleaning up the environment, building a park out of trees, donating or doing charity work for the children living in slums. She plans to educate children about the change in climate and the effects of global warming in the environment, in a fun way. Her passion to make this world a better place, her knowledge and her soulful looks will surely be something to look out for in the pageant.
Aniphan Chalermburanawong
Aniphan Chalermburanawong who is 25 years of age, with a height of 172 cm is contestant number 27 in Miss Thailand World 2018. Aniphan is a model by profession.
Aniphan is a graduate from Chulalongkorn University with a degree in Films Technology. She is also working as an actress at GPA Institute and GMM Grammy Official. She volunteers in Thailand Volunteer Force. With knowledge of stage presence and her exposure to an audience due to her acting career, she will be able to properly execute her personality and charms on the stage.
