Miss Earth Colombia 2018 has begun to announce its official delegates who will fight for the national title in Bogota Colombia. The title is given to the woman who represents Colombia at the prestigious Miss Earth pageant, an initiative to promote environmental awareness. The winner of Miss Earth Colombia 2018 will represent her country at Miss Earth 2018.

From Cali, Valle del Cauca, the 19-year-old Karina Jímenez was announced the official delegate of Miss Earth Colombia 2018 a few hours ago. Standing a whopping 179 cm tall, Karina is one of the youngest participants at the pageant this year.

As the delegate of Miss Earth Colombia 2018, Karina understands and loves to connect with and feel the maximum peace, serenity, happiness and reconnection with the environment. Being a nature lover, the mental clarity she gets makes her realize that everybody must fight to preserve and care for the rapidly depleting environment which is the future of the world.

Karina is a huge animal lover and wishes to work with organizations all over the world to work on the endangered and extinct animals. There is no doubt that this Colombian beauty has set high hopes and standards for herself and will definitely prove to be a strong competition for the other ladies at the competition.

Miss Earth Colombia 2017 Juliana Franco from Villavicencio represented Colombia at Miss Earth 2017. She also won the title of Miss Earth Water 2017 at the pageant. Juliana will crown her successor at the end of the grand finale.
