Miss World Canada 2018 contestants are being unveiled!

Miss World Canada organization opened its registrations for different provinces for this year’s national pageant a while back. With a few weeks to go before registrations get closed, it has already begun to crown provincial queens for the national pageant.

The winner of Miss World Canada 2018 will represent her country at Miss World 2018 where Manushi Chhillar from India will crown her successor.

Miss World Canada 2017 Cynthia Menard from Ontario will crown her successor at the end of the event finale which will be held in July this year in Toronto. Canada failed to secure a place in the semi-finals last year at Miss World 2017.

As mentioned on the official Facebook page, “Miss World Canada is under new directorship - now produced by MTC-W Inc. is an annual event held in Toronto - To apply you must compete in your provincial pageant, winner receives over $25,000 in cash and prizes and will represent Canada at the MISS WORLD pageant, which remains the oldest, largest and the most prestigious pageant in the world.”

Usually, around 50 contestants participate in the pageant to fight for the national time. The official Facebook page of Miss World Canada has started to unveil its contestants for the upcoming finale who have been officially confirmed -

Meighen Hodgen representing Napanee

Jasmine Herrera representing Wellington County

Roxanne Bilski representing Toronto District

Natasha Smith representing British Columbia

Erin Chapman representing Ottawa 

The remaining contestants are yet to be unveiled.
