Australia’s Kate Moore was virtually crowned as Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International 2020/2021 on 17th January 2020. Kate succeeded Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International 2019/20, Joanna Babynko of Poland for the title. Kate was also crowned as Miss Tourism Australia 2020/2021 after which she represented Australia at the 23rd Miss Tourism International 2020/2021.
Kate Moore is a 23-year-old country girl who grew up in a small town in Hunter Valley and spent her childhood riding horses and motorbikes. She was a scholarship student in Melbourne and completed her full-time acting for screen course.
Kate is a driven and dedicated aspiring actress who intends to pursue her career to its fullest potential. She was lucky enough, during her time in Melbourne, to get an opportunity to make a television debut on ABC Network’s Mustangs FC. Being someone with enormous dreams, she hopes to make acting as a full-time job in the future.
Extremely interested in fashion, aside from acting, Kate adores casually working as an in-store stylist. She thinks style is an amazing way to express your individuality and identity. Kate says that she loves being an Australian because Australia has always been an open campus for creativity.
Addressing the ways of promoting tourism during pandemic, as one of the Top 10 contestants, Kate said, “Global Pandemic means we need to find different ways to promote tourism. I believe pictures can transcend cultural boundaries and I would use social media platforms, to welcome our visitors, to share diversity and beauty of Australia. Australia is a safe destination to the experience that was once captivated by just images.” With a strong vision and a confident personality, Kate Moore is delighted to use her platform and title to share the beauty and warm hospitality of her country.
After winning the title of Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan this year, Kate shared her feelings via social media, “So excited to have made the international finals for Miss Tourism International & have been crowned Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International for 2020/21. Thank you to absolutely everyone for your kind words and support. Congratulations to all the beautiful young women who were involved and a special mention to our winner and finalists. I am so honoured to have represented our amazing country.”
