All about Miss Tourism International 2021/2022 Jessy Silana Wongsodiharjo

Miss Tourism International 2021, the 24th edition of the international pageant, was held on 19th December, 2021 at 10.30pm (MYT) where Jessy Silana Wongsodiharjo of Indonesia was crowned as Miss Tourism International 2021/2022 in a virtual finale. Jessy succeeded Miss Tourism International 2020 Carol Vinharski of Brazil for the title.

Jessy holds a degree in Master of Comm. Intl Business and Development and works as a news anchor for National TVRI, the only Indonesian free-to-air television channel to broadcast free-to-air outside Indonesia. “Be passionate and be involved in what you believe in, and do it as thoroughly and honestly and fearlessly as you can,” she wrote in an encouraging post on her social media, talking about her passion for news reporting. She started her journey as a talk show host and is now grateful to be working alongside senior anchors for a prominent national TV channel in her country.

 

 

The 25-year-old is not new to the world of pageantry as she was previously crowned Putri Pariwisata Indonesia in 2020. The diva advocates for mental health issues and sustainable living. On 10th October 2021, Jessy ran 55 kilometres to campaign for Bali Hope and Freedom 2021 with 10 Ultra Running Influencers in Bali.

Also, at the finale Araceli Dominguez of Paraguay was awarded Dreamgirls of the Year crown while Keinth Jesen Petrasanta of Philippines was awarded Miss Southeast Asia Tourism Ambassador title. How Zo Ee of Malaysia was awarded Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International award while Toluwalope Olarewaju of Nigeria got the Miss Tourism Global title. Miss Tourism Metropolitan title was won by Hoang Thi Huong Ly of Vietnam. Last, but not the least, Lily Anni Sofia Korpela of Finland was awarded Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International.
