Miss Earth Air 2021 Marisa Paige Butler shared the news of her engagement with long-time partner Jamie Ford on her social media, yesterday. Jamie, who is a fitness trainer by profession popped the question on Monday morning by an idyllic beach side.

The two have been dating for over two years, Marisa shared a video of Jamie kneeling down and asking her to be his forever while ‘Marry Me’ by Train, the American rock band played in the background. “Forever started today,” Marisa exclaimed.

“Happy 30th Birthday to my best friend, my role model, the love of my life, and the best dog dad that Milo could have asked for. Jamie you are so unbelievably loved. You light up our life with so much laughter, joy, good music and dance parties. I find myself blessed every day to have you in my life. Thank you for always being my rock, while also encouraging me to fly. I am so proud of everything you have accomplished in life so far, from opening your own gym, being the best friend a person could ask for, and always improving yourself and encouraging the people around you to do the same. I can’t wait to see what the next 30 years has in store for you,” Marisa shared on 1st December, 2021 on day of Jamie’s birthday who turned 30 recently.

Butler graduated from Stonehill College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business. While at Stonehill College, Marisa was on the soccer, and lacrosse teams, as well as their club cheering team. She now is living and working in California and is of French, English, Scottish, Irish, and Native American (Mic Mac) heritage. In the spring semester of her junior year, Marisa studied abroad at Kings College in London. While abroad, Marisa walked in a London Fashion Week event, hiked to the top of Mt. Vesuvius at Pompeii, and traveled to eight European countries.
