After successfully placing in the Top 5 at Miss Universe 2021 held on 12th December 2021 in Eilat, Israel, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez has returned to her home country and is helping her fellow Cebuanos who have been affected by the Typhoon Odette.
A few days ago, Beatrice shared the conversation she had with her family before the typhoon stuck the city on her social media as she said, “I was on FaceTime with my sister and mama when the storm was just about to hit. It only took minutes from a happy conversation to shift into a ghastly phone call as I heard them struggle the entire night. My family is now safe thank you to Sir @jessiehperez for staying up with me to contact my family and making sure that they’re safe as the storm was passing.”
For the relief, Beatrice has started a relief campaign with the help of Simply Share Foundation, Inc. They have collected more than hundred and fifty thousand pesos that they can use for aid. Bea and her team are already planning for a mass feeding program in the coming days.
Bea has definitely proven that she is a beauty with a kind heart, proving to be a beauty queen in every way.
