33 finalists are vying for the Miss Tourism Philippines 2017 title, and in just 4 days the winner will be crowned. The winner of Miss Tourism Philippines 2017 will represent the Philippines at Miss Tourism World 2017 pageant. Competing through different segments of Preliminary Activities, the girls are making their way to the finale.
One of the highlights of Miss Tourism Philippines 2017 is the Festival Costume Competition where the candidates paraded in painstakingly crafted attires. Each contestant represented their provinces in the competition. Each one of them graced the stage with their presentation.
The event was held at Crossroads in Quezon City, although an official shoot was already held at Chardonnay by Astoria days before the formal unveiling to the public.Now the contestants are heading towards the City of Manila for the finale.
Last year, Pangasinan Sharyl Diana Catchillar was crowned as Miss Tourism Philippines and represented Philippines at the Miss Tourism World 2016 pageant. She will now pass the crown and reign to her successor.
Swimsuit and evening gown competition was also held on 1st July, 2017 so as to prepare the delegates for the finale at The Tent Pavilion Chateau Royale Resort and Spa, Nasugbu Batangas. The finalists walked the ramp in their respective evening gowns and swim suits, showing off their elegance and charm. Winners of the competition are yet to be announced.
