Patchaploy Rueandaluang was crowned virtually as Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2020/2021 on 17th January 2020. Patchaploy succeeded Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2019/20 Gabriella Patricia Mandolang of Indonesia for the title.

Patcha was also crowned Miss Grand Nakhon Si Thammarat 2020 and became the official delegate for Miss Grand Thailand where she was adjudged as the second runner-up. This 25 year-old Thai beauty stands 170cm tall and holds a degree from the Eastern Asia University.

In her introductory video as one of the Top 10 contestants, Patcha said, “Under the circumstances of Covid-19 Pandemic, I think the best promotion is through social media platforms. I choose to represent Thai cooking to the world because cooking is that activity that one can easily do at home and food is also essential to attract tourists because food can connect and communicate to people all over the world with cultural awareness. Even if they cannot travel to that place.”

With a beautiful and eye hitting aura, she feels proud to be chosen as the cultural ambassador for international cultural exchange. She is culturally rooted having been a daughter and granddaughter to Traditional Thai Dance teachers. Hip-Hop culture counts as one of her keenest interests and inspired her to become a DJ. She is also interested in Graffiti as it is one such artwork that conveys deep meaning.  Patcha feels ready to make a difference with the combination between these two cultures, Hip-Hop and Traditional Thai Culture.

Introducing her own culture and cuisine to the world she said, “I used to think why people have to travel in order to find delicious food in each different place? Why do we have to wait in line for once to be able to taste the food that everyone else said is famous? I started to understand this when people say that if you want to get to know the local culture any place thoroughly just head to ‘food’ because food is the heart that best reflects the culture, ways of living and lifestyle.”

After her win as the Miss Tourism Queen of the World, she extended her thanks for the people’s support and welcomed the world to experience the World’s No.1 source for Street Food, the City of Street Food- Bangkok and see the Thai culture in all aspects among beautiful smiles. Patcha has a subtle and elegant personality and her love for travelling and food is reflective through her social media.
