Erina Hanawa of Japan crowned Miss Tourism World 2022

Erina Hanawa of Japan was crowned Miss Tourism World 2022 at the finale of the 31st edition of the international pageant held on Saturday, 10th December 2022 in Vinh Phuc, Vietnam. Erina is 29 years of age and of Japanese-Filipino heritage.

Erina Hanawa gave a stellar performance at the international pageant. Apart from the winning title, Erina was also awarded the Best Tourism Video along with Thailand's Pakinee Duangpattra and Siberia's Milena Vatsil. The newly crowned Miss Tourism World 2022 Erina Hanawa of Japan’s court includes –

1st Runner-up – Justine Felizarta of the Philippines

2nd Runner-up – Le Thi Huong of Vietnam

3rd Runner-up – Iana Sharikova of Russia

Top 12 semi-finalists also included Hanyu Zhang of China, Emmanuella Apuri of Ghana, Ade Yunita of Indonesia, Maria Carmen Crescenzi of Italy, Delvina Katerina Luther of Singapore, Pakinee Duangpattra of Thailand, and Duygu Cerit of Turkey.

The continental titles of Miss Tourism World 2022 were as follows –Miss Tourism America 2022 went to Hazel Zuñiga Pinedo of Colombia, Miss Tourism Asia 2022 was awarded to Thailand's Pakinee Duangpattra, Miss Tourism Africa 2022 was awarded to Ghana's Emmanuella Apuri, and Turkey's Duygu Cerit won the Miss Tourism Europe 2022 title.

Kazakhstan’s Ainara Milyukova bagged the Best in Swimsuit award while Ade Yunita of Indonesia won Best in National Costume award. Justine Felizarta of Philippines bagged the Best in Evening Gown award while Aziza Aznizan of Borneo was awarded Miss Media. Rethabile Maloka of South Africa won Miss Personality and Milena Vatsil of Siberia won Miss Photogenic award.

Miss Tourism World’s advocacy is focused on promoting and boosting global culture and tourism. A new crown named ‘The Power Of Life By IJC’ was also introduced. The crown is inspired by the ‘tree of life’ which symbolizes the rebirth of nature and the ability to rise and overcome fate, carrying the meaning of strong vitality, passionate desires, and expectations of people about the future.
