Indonesia debuted its country win at Miss International in 2017 where Kevin Liliana was crowned Miss International 2017. With its consistent performance in the pageantry, the country has made a strong name for itself in the pageant world.

For the 2022 edition, Dr. Cindy May McGuire has been crowned Miss International Indonesia 2022 to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2022. If Cindy manages to win the Miss International 2022 crown, it will be Indonesia’s second win at Miss International pageant.

Cindy May McGuire has quite a lot of accomplishments to boast about. She currently works as a general practitioner, model, commercial talent, and auditor at an aircraft company. She is also currently pursuing a dual master's degree at UNSW majoring in Health Management and Infectious Disease Leadership/Intelligence and wants to continue to learn and gain experience to help Indonesia be at the forefront of providing health services to the community.

Cindy also wants to form a volunteer doctor organization to improve the Indonesian health care system to agree on and promote the improvement of the Indonesian health care system. With her strong communication skills, her stunning beauty and a charming personality, Cindy will surely be a strong contender for the international crown.

Miss International 2022, the 60th edition of the pageant, will be held on 13th December 2022 where Miss International 2019 Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
